Investigation And Analysis On The Status Quo Of Vegetable Quality And Safety In Xiangtan City

Vegetable quality and safety is related to the high-quality development of the vegetable industry and people ’ s well-being.A comprehensive understanding of the status quo of vegetable quality and safety in Xiangtan City,together with the analysis of the main problems,and some targeted recommendations are the objective needs of adapting to the new normal of agricultural economy,implementing the "14th Five" agricultural and rural modernization development plan of Xiangtan City,thus promoting the development of modern urban agriculture.This thesis uses data from 302 questionnaires designed for main vegetable production and 435 questionnaire tailed to vegetable consumer groups,combined with 2021 routine monitoring of agricultural products’ quality and safety in Xiangtan city as well as relevant agricultural department experts,scholars,comprehensive application of literature method,fieldwork method,interview method,questionnaire method and mathematical statistics and other research methods to investigate and analyze the quality and safety of vegetables in Xiangtan city.The results are as follows.The major problem is that with the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,people’s demand for vegetables has also undergone great changes.The mass’ s focus has shifted from affordable prices to the quality of vegetables,and their consumption preference has changed from foreign vegetables to local fresh vegetables,from the main purchase from the traditional vegetable market to order agriculture,online shopping and countryside procurement.People’s demand for vegetable quality and safety has raised higher requirements.The vegetable industry in Xiangtan City has prominent problems concerned with quality and safety,the vegetable quality and safety management mechanism is yet to be improved,the use of pesticides lack of scientific guidance,vegetable production talent echelon construction still needs enhancement,"Two Certificates and One Platform" construction is at a slow pace,and the local vegetable industry is impacted by foreign markets,the local vegetable industry regional cooperation is still weak,the local vegetable industry development Platform is narrow,vegetable industry policy implementation has many weak links and it still has very large development space in vegetable quality development.The targeted proposals are put forward as follows.Improve the level of vegetable quality and safety,according to the actual development of the vegetable industry in Xiangtan City so as to create a "special vegetable business card" of the city and do a good job in the vegetable industry in the hometown of great men.The thesis also proposes to enhance the system and mechanism of agricultural product supervisory management,increase the supervision and service of the production body,improve the supervision and management of vegetable circulation market,strengthen regional cooperation in vegetable industry,boost the construction of "Two Certificates and One Platform",reinforce the construction and development of the whole vegetable industry chain,augment the building of vegetable industry talent team,build vegetable industry informationization platform,promote the development mode of production,study and research investment of vegetable industry and forge a green vegetable demonstration area in Xiangtan.
