International entrepreneurship is an effective way for enterprises to integrate international resources,identify,evaluate and develop cross-border business opportunities,and promote sustainable business growth.It is an important driver of national economic growth.China,which is in the midst of economic transformation,has placed great emphasis on entrepreneurial activities and has introduced many relevant policies and financial support guidelines.The report of the Second Tenth Congress also emphasis the need to cultivate a new generation with a sense of innovation and entrepreneurial ability,and to more deeply integrate entrepreneurship education throughout the education process.Entrepreneurship education is an important way for entrepreneurs to acquire entrepreneurial knowledge and enhance their entrepreneurial abilities.It is the raw material for entrepreneurs to implement entrepreneurial bricolage when they are faced with the dilemma of a lack of resources.This paper focuses on the question of how entrepreneurship education affects the performance of international entrepreneurial enterprises,and develops a model of the relationship between entrepreneurship education and the performance of international entrepreneurial enterprises.First,based on extensive literature review,this paper defines the variables and divides entrepreneurial bricolage into three dimensions:resource bricolage,customer bricolage,institution bricolage;divides the performance of international entrepreneurial enterprises into two dimensions: financial performance and operational performance.Secondly,on the basis of previous studies,the relationship among the variables was investigated.Nine related hypotheses were proposed,and a study model was established.Thirdly,questionnaire was prepared and distributed and collected according to the purpose of the study and the characteristics of the research subjects.SPSS and Mplus software were used to conduct statistical analyses of the data,including reliability tests,descriptive analysis,correlation and regression analysis,etc.Combining theoretical analysis and empirical research,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Entrepreneurship education has a positive impact on the performance of international entrepreneurial enterprises.Entrepreneurs combined with practical theoretical education are better at dealing with complex international entrepreneurial environments.(2)There is a mediating role for entrepreneurial bricolage in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and international entrepreneurial firm performance,and a mediating role for entrepreneurial opportunity identification in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and international entrepreneurial firm performance.International entrepreneurial enterprises can achieve high levels of performance through two pathways: through entrepreneurial bricolage to quickly use the resources at hand to solve immediate problems,and through entrepreneurial opportunity identification to accurately identify and develop valuable business opportunities.(3)There is a chain of mediating role between entrepreneurship education and international entrepreneurial firm performance through entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial opportunity identification.Entrepreneurship education itself is an entrepreneurial resource that provides entrepreneurs with the experiential and practical knowledge to create and grow a business.It is an important raw material for entrepreneurial bricolage.Entrepreneurship education also nurtures the business acumen of potential entrepreneurs.However,good entrepreneurial opportunities do not just appear out of nowhere,It requires entrepreneurial enterprises to overcome resource constraints to seek out and identify entrepreneurial opportunities in order to achieve further development of international entrepreneurial enterprises.Finally,it is noted that this study still has some shortcomings and provides directions for future research in terms of sample collection and variable measurement.This paper enriches the research related to the relationship between entrepreneurship education and the performance of international entrepreneurial enterprises,with theoretical implications and practical value.First,it enriches the empirical research on entrepreneurship education by constructing a model of the relationship between entrepreneurship education,entrepreneurial bricolage,entrepreneurial opportunity identification and international entrepreneurial enterprises performance,compensating for the limitations of the existing empirical studies which only focus on direct relationships and single pathways.Secondly,it constructs a model of the pathway of international entrepreneurial performance,focusing on the different abilities of different entrepreneurs to transform resources into value,and introduces entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial opportunity identification to analyze their chain mediating roles in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and international entrepreneurial performance,providing new ideas for international entrepreneurial performance research.Third,it expands the application of resource theory in international entrepreneurship research.This paper not only focuses on the enhancement of firm performance by heterogeneous resources often mentioned in the resource-based view,but also sees the dynamic role of enterprises in the resource bricolage and resource orchestration perspectives.The innovative integration and utilization of these resources,reflecting a certain degree of innovation of this paper.
