With the development of the times,China’s industrial structure is constantly being adjusted.Although the overall development of the service industry structure is still unbalanced and structural contradictions are prominent,the service industry,as the largest industry in China and the driving force of economic growth,still maintains a good momentum of growth and great development space.In the management field of all walks of life,leadership style determines the development strategy,direction and achievements of enterprises.Servant leadership,as one of the important leadership styles,is an important study object of modern enterprise management,and has become one of the important factors affecting employee performance.More and more business leaders attach importance to it and apply it to enterprise management to improve employees’ job service performance.Taking the service industry as an example,this thesis studies the impact of servant leadership on employee service performance.Taking the staff in the typical Wholesale and Retail industry,Accommodation and Catering Industry,Leasing and Business Service Industry and Education Service Industry in the service industry as the study object,combined with the actual difficulties of the development of enterprises and service industry,it is found that enterprise employees lack initiative,low organizational identity,solidified leadership thinking Large personnel mobility and other problems.According to the actual problems,the hypothesis model is proposed,the relevant items in the maturity scale are used,the questionnaire survey method is used for data collection,the SPSS 25.0 software is used for data analysis,and the proposed hypothesis model is verified by the combination of theoretical analysis and data analysis.Through empirical study,it is found that servant leadership plays a positive role in promoting employee performance,servant leadership plays a positive role in promoting employee identity,and servant leadership plays a positive role in promoting performance.At the same time,employee identity and initiative,as intermediary variables,play an intermediary role between servant leadership and performance.The results of this study provide a theoretical basis and management practice guidance for the management practice of the service industry,and provide help for improving employee service performance.
