With the increasingly fierce competition in China’s financial industry,more and more commercial banks begin to pay attention to cultivating employee satisfaction and loyalty,so as to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.At present,the employee satisfaction of commercial banks in China is relatively low.The factors affecting employee satisfaction include working environment,work remuneration,interpersonal relationship,development prospects,work itself and social status.Therefore,based on the analysis of the basic situation of ZY bank Pingdingshan Branch,this paper constructs a research model of employee satisfaction and its influencing factors according to the equity theory,the two factor theory and the hierarchy of needs theory,and analyzes 165 employee questionnaire data by using the methods of factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the proposed assumptions and models.The main conclusions of this paper are: first,the employee satisfaction and loyalty of ZY bank Pingdingshan Branch are generally low.With a total score of 5(the same below),the sample employees’ satisfaction and loyalty are 2.98 and 3.18 respectively,indicating that the employee satisfaction and loyalty of ZY bank Pingdingshan Branch are at a low level;Second,there are obvious differences in employee satisfaction and loyalty in terms of gender,line age and educational background(P < 0.05).Among them,men have higher satisfaction and loyalty than women,and employees with longer line age and lower educational background have higher satisfaction and loyalty;Third,the working environment,work remuneration,interpersonal relationship,development prospects,work itself and social status are the main factors affecting employee satisfaction(briefly explain which factors have greater impact on employee satisfaction and loyalty according to the analysis results);Fourth,the working environment,work remuneration,interpersonal relationship,development prospects,work itself,social status and job satisfaction have a significant positive impact on employee loyalty(F = 21.625,P < 0.001)(briefly explain which factors have a greater impact on employee loyalty according to the analysis results);Fifthly,among the above main factors affecting employee satisfaction,employees rated interpersonal relationship dimension(3.65)and work itself dimension(3.72)relatively high,rated working environment(3.05)and work salary(3.08)relatively low,and rated development prospects(3.28)in the middle.(it can also be added that different types of employees have different evaluations on these factors.).Based on the above conclusions,this study mainly puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote employee satisfaction and loyalty of ZY bank Pingdingshan Branch from the aspects of improving the performance appraisal system and optimizing the salary system,creating a comfortable working space and providing humanized working equipment,optimizing the employment mechanism and improving the growth and promotion path of employees.
