With the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative,cross-border traffic is playing an increasingly important role in connecting China with countries along the Belt and Road in terms of logistics,commerce,capital and cultural exchanges.Under the requirements of time-sensitive economy,different types of goods have different time value and transportation needs,and the most suitable transportation scheme for their transportation is also different.Therefore,taking into account the time value of goods is of great significance for optimizing the multimodal container transport scheme between China and Europe and promoting the construction of the Belt and Road.Firstly,on the basis of introducing the definition and characteristics of international multimodal transport,this paper analyzes the development status and transportation process of container transportation between China and Europe,analyzes the transportation process of each transport combination,discusses the main influencing factors of route selection,and analyzes and calculates the transportation cost,transportation time and time value of goods of each mode of transport.Secondly,in order to distinguish and refine the route selection scheme of China-Europe multimodal transport with different cargo types,from the perspective of China-Europe container multimodal cargo owners,focusing on three aspects:cost,timeliness and time value of goods,the route optimization model of China-Europe container transport mode selection is constructed.Third,using genetic algorithm and MATLAB software,the model constructed is empirically analyzed by taking Changsha-Hamburg as an example.The results show that there are great differences in the specific transport schemes under different time constraints and different cargo types,and the shippers of China-Europe container multimodal transport should choose the corresponding optimal scheme accordingly.When the arrival time of high-value and time-sensitive goods is short,the transportation mode of railway assembly to China-Europe train can be selected,and when the arrival time is long,the transportation mode of road assembly to sea can be selected;When the arrival time of high-value,low-time-sensitive goods and low-value low-time-sensitive goods is short,the transportation mode of railway assembly to China-Europe train can be selected,and when the arrival time is long,the transportation mode of railway assembly to sea can be selected;When the arrival time of low-value and high-time-sensitive goods is short,the transportation mode of road assembly to China-Europe train can be selected,and when the arrival time is long,the transportation mode of railway assembly to sea can be selected.This paper further enriches the research on China-Europe container transport options and also provides a convenient reference method for China-Europe multimodal transport shippers in terms of route selection.
