| Objective: To research the clinical curative effect and function machanism of Qiangxin Tongmai decoction (QXTM) in treating congestive heart failure (CHF)belongs to the syndrome of Qi deficiency and stagnation of blood and deficiency of Yang of the heart and kidney. Methods: 86 cases of CHF belong to the syndrome of Qi deficiency and stagnation of blood and deficiency of Yang of the heart and kidney were observed. 45 cases were treated by QXTM, and 41 cases by Xinbao pill. All cases have been maken systemic observations respectively. Simultaneously, the author researched the influence of QXTM on blood dynamics parameters, neural endocine hornmone in blood plasmas and the expressions of AQPamRNA in kidney medella of rats. Results: QXTM can evidently improve clinical symptoms and signs and heart functions as well as decrease the level of ET-1 and ANP. The animal experimental results showed that QXTM can evidently ameliorate HR, ASP, ADP, LVSP, LVEDP,眃p/dt max of the heart failure rat medols, and can decrease the level of ET-1, ANP in blood plasma and the expression of AQPamRNA in kidney. Conclusion: Qiangxin Tongmai decoction exerts anti-heart failure effect through several sections, based on regulating neural-endocine system comprehensively.
