Object:Using the information from existing literatures, research the relationship between the cold-heat nature of Chinese medicinal herbs and chemical constituents in two aspects, they are organic components and inorganic components. To provide reference for the feasibility of further study, to research the material base of four nature of traditional Chinese medicine.Method:To collect chemical information of plant medicine by document retrieval, using chemical informatics to collate the data and analyze it, then research the relationship between chemical constituents and cold-heat nature of herbs.Result:Establish logistic regression equation based on four levels of organic components, they are lager class, subclass, secondary structure groups and single compound. Use the regression equation to distinguish cold-heat nature of herbs. Using Bayes discriminate method and support vector machine to analyze the relationship between inorganic elements and cold-heat of herbs, it has ideal effect. Conclusion:There is relativity between cold-heat nature of traditional Chinese medicine and chemical constituents. Chemical constituents are the material base of four properties of traditional Chinese medicine, what we can use to establish discriminate model of cold-heat nature of traditional Chinese medicine. Use the discriminate model to distinguish cold and heat of herbs.
