Study On The Spatial Data Standard For Small Town Master Planning

Following the quick development of social economy and extensive application of GIS technology, there is a largely development in the process of the informationization of urban planning. As the important ingredient of informationization of urban planning, the work of informationization of small town planning also is developing step by step. From the practical application of the information technology of small town planning, GIS technology is a tool of information catching and a means of information analyzing in the planning and management of town. Consequently, the efficiency and level of the planning and management have been improved.At present, there are some problems in the process of the information of small town planning generally. For example, the difficulty of the spatial data acquisition, the data organization is confusion, the difficulty of the data sharing, and so on. While, the standard of the small town planning spatial data is one of the key factors to settle the above questions. Therefor , the large master planning data of extremely not canonical but needing to collect into the database" urgently are regard as the studying object in this paper. After analyzing the content and character of the small town master planning data and the content and principles of its standardization, the author of this paper emphasizes the following aspects studying, the GIS data standard of the small town master planning spatial data, the CAD data standard.For the GIS data standard, the author mainly study in the sorting code, the stratifying organization and the metadata; for the CAD data standard, the author mainly discusses in both the cartography rules and the chart layer standard. Based on the analysis and studying of the standard, referring to the standard of nation and international, the author presents some special spatial data standard for the small town master planning. These standards are some crucial standard in small town planning data gathering. CAD data standard standard planning data origin, the GIS data standard provide a basic frame for the plan data organization form. These standard and criterion may offer gist and references for the small town planning GIS, what's more, it will impel the informationization of small town planning.Finally, operation and function of these standards are validated with the specific small town master planning data, and the deficiencies for this paper are viewed.
