It is certain that the main driver control system is very important for hot strip continuous rolling. Because main driver system always related with ski control, tensile force control and roll force control. Domestic Steel Corporation usually adopts experimental investigation way to research main driver system. This way not only will reduce output, but also will destroy system. So the simulation technology will be the better way to resolve this problem. In this dissertation, the dynamic simulation model of main driver system of hot continuous rolling is established. A man-machine interface system which can modify mode parameters and communicate with other simulation platform is developed. Modeling process and model parameters identify are discussed in detail. The models and software have passed the expertise appraisal and authentication. Problems on the realization of interface of RT-LAB are discussed .The work provides an active approach for the off-line simulation and optimum design of rolling mills. Main content of this dissertation includes:chapter 1: The development general situation of main driver system of hot strip continuous rolling and the application in modern industry of distributed system simulation technology are summarized. Furthermore, the author discussed the current research situation of the domestic modeling and simulation of main driver system of hot continuous rolling. Based on above summarization, the background, significance, research objective and main task of this paper are discussed in detail.chapter2: First of all, the author discussed the distributed simulation platform RT-LAB and analyzed the characteristic of main driver system of hot strip continuous rolling. After Frame of hot continuous rolling distributed simulation platform are discussed in detail, main driver distributed simulation system of hot continuous rolling based on RT-LAB are designed.chapter3: The dynamic mathematics model of main driver system is established on the basis of analyzing function of all modules.chapter4: In this chapter, the author discussed how to identify model parameters and how to program simulation model through DC and AC main driver system examples.chapter5: With the analyses of the RT-LAB API (DLLs), drivers design is introduced based on criterion of Lab VIEW drivers through an example. Based on the above, a man-machine interface system which can modify mode parameters and communicate with other simulation platform is developed by LabVIEW.chapter6: In this chapter, the author mainly discussed simulation results and the validity of system models. Finally, the author analyzed simulation results.chapter7: Summarize, The prospect of further research work was put forward.
