The straightening technology is used widespread in the metallurgical industry, it is commonly used supporting facility in the metallurgical industry production. In modernized degree high continuous casting production line, the straightening equipment of the continuous casting production is essential, In the finishing departments of section, steel plate, steel pipe of Steel mill, the straightening machine is one of necessary equipment.The key equipments(the straightening machine) of finishing traverse have certain aspects the question at some hot rolling factory of Wuhan Iron and Steel. It had not been able to obtain the effective plan. The production has not been able to satisfy the thick specification production and the high strength product production. until now, along with high strength, thick specification product proportion increasing, the question of traverse is prominent day by day. Design productivity (board width is 2130) of the seven roller straightening machine satisfies when the thickness of slab achieves 25mm, it should be possible to produce the 500MPa. However, in the actual production, the driving shafts of the straightening machine actually have broken frequently, the bearing of working roll damage the question frequently. At present the above question has become that it limits regular production, limits the output and the quality and limits the high strength and new variety. In view of the key equipments(the straightening machine) of finishing traverse, the drive shaft and the work roller bearing of this production line's straightening machine damages frequently , this article has carried on the following analysis and the research in view of this question.1. It researches the structure of the seven roll type of straightening machine in this paper and it researches working principle, control target and key components of hydraulic system of straightening machine, according to the related parameters of straightening machine. It calculates the force of the straightening machine when the straightening machine straightening the different specifications of steel.2. Because of the driving shafts and the bearing of working roll of the straightening machine actually have broken frequently, it designs the data acquisition system, simultaneously this experiment selects the USB series gathering card of NI, the model is the USB-6211, it supplies power by USB and it has multi-purpose DAQ and its NI-DAQMX software gathers each kind of high strength, thick gauge frame cylinder pressure and displacement signal.3. According to the characteristics of the data, In order to read and analyze the signal conveniently which gathered, it has compiled software which can read and analysis the signal with the MATLAB language. At the same time it analyzes the fuel tank pressure signal and the displacement signal with that software. 4. According to the analysis of the experimental data. the reason of the driving shafts and the bearing of working roll of the straightening machine actually broken frequently is that the overflow valve pressure(290bar) sets too high between the servo valve and Rodless cylinder servo cavity, Tanks should not stress-free cavity under unloading. Therefore, the relief valve did not protect it when the load increased all the time.5. Based on the pressure curve of the fuel tank. it computes the average of four hydraulic cylinder residual and it comes single-cylinder load force and it models and simulates for the servo cylinder system of straightening machine with the AMESIM software. The simulation results show that it ensure that the work of straightening machine transmission shaft and roller bearing work normally, the pressure of relief valve should set to 22MPa between servo valve and servo cylinders of 1 # straightening machine, the pressure relief valve should set to 23.5MPa between servo valve and servo cylinders of 2 # straightening machine.When the load disturbance ,at this time the fluctuations of cylinder pressure and displacement is the smallest. Simulation results are applied to field, the effect is very good, it solves the problem of shaft fracture of straightener and the problem of the work roll bearing which is often damaged...
