Sewage treatment is an integrated energy-intensive technology, there is electricity and thermal energy comsuming in plant. With China's rapid economic development, here it comes by the energy crisis and environmental crisis, so that people concerned about the problem of energy consumption. To build a resource-conserving and environment-friendly society, the needs for high-energy resources use efficiency of sewage treatment of advanced and applicable technologies. According to the information said that the municipal sewage treatment plant the total consumption of electric power consumption 60~90%, mainly used in waste water, sewage sludge elevation, enhance biological oxygen system, as well as sludge treatment process these.This paper studies 6 sewage treatment plants power consumption issues in the main city of Kunming. Based on one year of operations information, it analysis the treatment process and the equipment power consumption.
