In recent years, our country is facing severe water shortages and pollution situation. The most effective measure to solve the water pollution problems is to build the sewage treatment plant. It has significant social, economic and environmental benefits. However, the sewage treatment field of energy consumption is very large, its operation process needed to high operational costs of support. This makes the current wastewater treatment plant construction or run have a lot of problems should be solved, the problem of excessive power consumption has become an obstacle to the development of sewage treatment industry. Because our country is facing shortage of power resources, lack of energy supply situation, the construction of energy efficient sewage treatment plant is the only way to achieve sustainable development strategy in China. However, at present our country has always been to focus on the design of the sewage treatment plant construction and processing results, often neglecting the wastewater treatment plant of the follow-up operation costs. This will cause many sewage plant reduce the process because of the sewage collecting money does not reach the designated position. Then the water indicators can be imagined. As time passes the sewage treatment plant will be just a shell and cannot have the effect of treatment sewage. So the task of wastewater treatment field is analysis and processing the unit of energy conversion. This article made a detailed study of a typical wastewater treatment process, especially in the technology and equipment operating conditions. Thus proposed the feasible energy saving method, the main results are as follows:(1) Analyzing the working principle and the best work area of sewage lift pump. The reason to large energy consumption of sewage lift pump is that the actual water volume is less than the design of water, so that the pump cannot run in the best work area. Therefore when design sewage lift pump we should avoid the estimate as far as possible. In addition the use of frequency converter can greatly enhance the efficiency of the pump and can protect equipment effectly.(2) Aeration equipment has always been a major energy consumer of the sewage treatment plant. This article studies the principle of the aerator and oxygen diffusion paths by the thermodynamic theory and the interface mass transfer theory. The key to saving energy is control the air input of aeration equipment. (3) Through the aeration process and the existing intelligence control technology, this article used fuzzy PID control technology in the field of sewage treatment. The use of fuzzy PID controller can make the aeration equipment continued to work in the energy-saving state.(4) In addition, the sewage treatment plant often ignore the importance of sludge treatment due to the problem of construction funds. When the sewage treatment plant adding medicament, they need through the precise experiment to determine to dosing quantity. And the reasonable disposal of sludge is the key to energy recovery. To establish some relationship between the wastewater treatment plant and the recovery of energy then the constructors will willing to build a sludge disposal facility in order to avoid the waste of energy.
