Proposing resource saving and environment protection and developenergy—saving and water-saving technology should be the everlasting topic. The multi-pipe conveying system is a kind of very excellent energy-savingpnumatic system.In this paper the characteristics of multi—pipe conveyingsystem is discussed.In order to do completely researchment both phase flowanalysis of gas and solid was accomplished and a series of experiment wascarried out.Flowing characteristics was simulated,calculated and analyzedthrough setting up mathematic model and new capacitive imagingtechnology . Laboratorial experiment and industrial testing comparingmultitube with single tube conveying system was also finished.Theoreticaland experimental results shows that there are following adventage to takeadvantage of multitube conveying system:1)slow and therefore wear-resistant movement of the material.Conveyingvelocity at start is from 2m/s to 6m/s.2)high loading capacities(kgmaterial/kg air),the ratio is more than 30.3)low energy consume,the powerneeded conveying per tone material far away one kilometer is less than 60kwh/tkm.4)high reliability and low maintain,never have a pipe blockageoccurring.
