Now, the black black locust (Robinia pserdoacacia L.) breeding target is still single in our country. The strains for different use or adapting different environment have not been produced. There was little population improvement for black locust. And the spreading of good black locust strains lacked of power. So selection a group of strains with good tree trunk type, fast growth and high outturn percentage would play an important role in improving genetic quality and productivity of black locust. This study was aimed at solving the problem using 298 clones and 40 half-sib offspring in Daqingshan forestry farm in Feixian county, Shandong province, by processing former data and completing the data including phonological period, height, diameter at breast height (DHB), and wood volume of above materials. The main results were as follows:1) Black locust gene bank was found in Daqingshan forestry farm in Feixian County. 298 clones, including 38 foreign and 260 local materials, were collected in this gene bank, which were taken up 8.3 ha.2) The phonological period of black locust in this gene bank in Daqingshan forestry farm showed budding period was from March 28th to April 14th; sprouting was from April 9th to April 28th; early flowering was May 5th to May 17th; full bloom was from May 7th to May 20th; pod mature period was from July 3rd to July 24th; leaf fall period was from October 18th to September 5th.3) From the observation of the phonological period of black locust, it could be concluded that the stains Henan Mast, Wuchi, Zaoye, 67, 750, 154, 155, 161, 193, Xing 07 were early budding strains; 205, 02, Mexico, 27, Wanye were late budding strains; 38, 55, 58, Henan Jiangan, 154, 264, 220 were early flowering strains; Wanye, Xing 10, Xing 26 were late flowering strains; 150, 155, 154, 168, 203, Xing 86, 161 were long flowering strains; Xing 26, 67 were short flowering strains; 01, 02, 09, 10, 13, 155 were less flower strains; 07, 08, 37, 40 were more flower stains; 36, 37, 14, 23, 182, 201 were early leaf fall strains and 68, 155, 156, 10 were late leaf strains.4) The tree height of clone 139 was higher significantly than 25 clones, such as 52, 136, 23, 40, 93, Min 2, 78, etc. Similarly, clone 155 was higher significantly than 14 clones; clone 10 was higher significantly than 9 clones; clone 62 was higher significantly than 3 clones. The DHB of clone 139 and 155 were longer significantly than 6 clones, such as 95, 68, Jian 1, etc. The wood volume of clone 139 were bigger significantly than 14 clones, such as, 57, 72, etc. Strain 137, 133, 10 and 155 had reached the standard of good black locust clones.5) The height of half-sib offspring 10 approached the check, but it was higher significantly than 7 offspring, such as 63, Jiao 44, 103, Jiao 42, 53, 84, 43, etc. The DHB of 34 offspring, such as 39, 10, 86, 41, Jiao 39, 38, 68 and etc., were longer significantly than the check. The wood volumes of 31 offspring, such as 86, 10, 39, Jiao 39, 41, 36, 68, and etc. were bigger than check. The order of average genetic gain of height, DHB, and wood volume was height< DHB
