| Objective: With the study on curative effects of male immune infertility with positive antisperm antibody treated by traditional Chinese medicine "Huzhangdanshenyin" and with the comparison observation on positive antisperm antibody in serum and(or) sperm, sperm indexes before and after the treatment, to explore an effective therapy of male immune infertility with positive antisperm antibody with traditional Chinese medicine . Methods: 70 cases with male immune infertility with positive antisperm antibody were selected as the research subjects and were divided into two groups randomly. 35 cases were selected as treatment group and treated by traditional Chinese Medicine "Huzhangdanshenyin" for four months ; 35 cases were selected as control group and treated by western medicine "prednisone" for four months. The improvements of clinical symptoms,immunologic indxes (antisperm antibody in serum and sperm), sperm indexes (sperm amount, sperm liquefied duration, sperm density, sperm survival rate, sperm motility, sperm deformation rate etc) were observed and the results were disposed with statistics. Results: 1. It showed significant differences in the clinical cure rate and total valid rate between the treatment group and control group (P<0.01) . After the treatment, the marks of . clinical symptoms of treatment group were lower than the control group (P<0.01) . The improvement of clinical symptoms of the treatment group was better than control group (P<0.01;) , especially the improvements of soreness and pain of lions and knees, hypersexuality, topoalgia, distending and bearing-down sensation of perineum and testis,. 2.The total antisperm antibody reversing ratio of the treatment group was better than control group (P<0.01) , especially the serum antisperm antibody reversing ratio. 3. After thetreatment, the sperm motility and sperm survival rate of the treatment group were better than before the treatment (P<0.01) . After the treatment, the sperm density of the treatment group was better than before the treatment (F<0.05) , however there were no significant differences in the sperm amount, sperm liquefied duration, sperm deformation rate and PH (P>0.05) . Conclusions: "Huzhangdanshenyin" could improve the antisperm antibody reversing ratio of male immune infertility with positive antisperm antibody , improve the clinical symptoms and signs obviously, ameliorate the sperm indexes and had not obvious side effects. The curative effects of "Huzhangdanshenyin" were better than "prednisone". "Huzhangdanshenyin" was a effective traditional Chinese medicine to cure male immune infertility with positive antisperm antibody.
