Objective:To analysis and identify the kinds and occurrence steps of occupational hazards in the production process of the construction project, test the concentration or the strong degree of risk factors, evaluate the risk extent and effects of the protective measures, and present the critical control point and the special protective requirements. To provide scientific basis for the acceptance of occupational health protection facilities of the construction project for the health administrative department and provide evidences for the current managements of occupational disease prevention for construction unit.Methods:1. Field investigations of occupational healthInvestigation of the production process:To investigate the whole process of the production, observe the production operation status, and determine the types and distribution of occupational hazards in the production process.Work environment survey:To investigate the project location, general arrangement, production processes, and the implementation of occupational protective equipments, emergency rescue facilities, personal protective articles and so on.Occupational health management survey:To investigate the situation of occupational health management structure, the establishment and implementation of occupational health regulations and routine practices, the situation of occupational health education, health care, and archiving of occupational health data.2. Field detectionAccording to relevant national technical specifications and standards and in the case of normal conditions in the test run, field tests and experiments on the occupational hazards produced from production process were conducted to evaluate the concentration and strong degree of these risk factors and the protective effects of prevention facilities against occupational hazards. Results:1. Lead fume and dustResults of the first test displayed:Concentration of lead fume and dust exceeded the allowable limit of national standards at 0.03-49 folds in the places of the warehouse office, and coated and casting board machine, lead smelting furnace, dry kiln, section cutter machine, brushing machine, weighting lead sheet position in the polar plate workshop, and flaker position, lead-melting room (lead smelting furnace, Poured nail furnace, welding mold table), welding position in the assembling workshop. After the improvement and rectification, concentration of lead fume and dust in some places had basically accorded with <>(GBZ2.1-2007) except the concentration of lead fume in the places of warehouse office, and coated board machine, section cutter, brushing machine, weighting lead sheet position in the polar plate workshop, and the concentration of lead dust in the places of lead smelting furnace, welding mold table in the polar plate workshop and welding position in the assembling workshop.2. Benzene, Toluene, XyleneConcentration of benzene, toluene, xylene in the post of sealed plastic in the assembling workshop complied with the demand of standard GBZ2.1-2007.3. Sulfur trioxide (sulfuric acid)Concentration of sulfur trioxide(sulfuric acid) in the posts of melting into lines, preparation acid in the polar plate workshop and charging, ading acid in the assembling workshop were both in accordance with provision of GBZ2.1-2007.4. DustConcentration of Slag dust, coal dust in the boiler room and graphite dust when mixing plaster in the polar plate workshop were in accordance with provision of GBZ2.1-2007.5. NoiseThe 5-minute equivalent continuous sound level were detected in 22 representative posts, the results showed that the noise intensity in the posts of casting plate, adding lead dust (except the main control room), mixing plaster and slicing, brushing, weighting the lead sheet exceeded the provision of <>(GBZ2.2-2007), while other posts accorded with request of GBZ2.2-2007.6. IlluminationThe illumination of the workplace all meeted with the requirements of <>(GB50034-2004).Conclusion:In the process of design, construction of present construction projects, the principle that occupational protective equipments are designed, constructed and put into production and use were simultaneously with the the main construction of construction projects. Necessary protective measures against occupational diseases were taken to play certain protective effects. As this projects was the serious occupational hazard project, construction unit should implement "Additional Measures of Occupational Diseases" in present report and accept the supervision and guidance of the local health administration department, and make prevention measures against occupational diseases well.
