| Sport is the main form of physical exercise for the human beings, which do should produce excellent results. However, researchers have found that athletes are vulnerable to injuries in their movements. The biggest rival of athletes is not the strong competitor, but the injury. Injuries not only delay the training progress and affect the effects, but also bring negative influence on both physical and psychological aspects. Water recovery helps the patients in basis treatment and training, which is based on the natural characteristics of water and the rudiments of physiology and biochemistry on water sports, to shorten the rehabilitation period and resume the ability in daily life. For the patients injured in sports, it's difficult to enhance the strength of muscle by the land-based exercises. Especially, because of the increased pain, the condition of the back injured patients should be worse. However, if it's the water exercises, everything will change. This paper will cluster the different methods of water recovery for different injured athletes, indentify the features of water recovery for different parts of sports, analyze the characteristics of damages in different parts of human body, and summarized a whole framework. This paper obtains research data and theory support by methodologies of literatures, statistics, logic analysis, expert interviews.The structured interview should be based on the 2010th conference for extension the body-building in water in which the main objects are teachers of body-building in water, doctors and therapists.According to the experts interview, evidences for the paper could be enriched. Questionnaire survey:The questionnaires should be sent to the athletes from Beijing Sport University in basketball, volleyball, football, gymnastics, athletics, taekwondo, all of which are in the top 6 of the easiest injured routine projects. The survey should include the injured area, reason, rehabilitation methods, water recovery or not, awareness on water recovery, etc. and experiment method:The candidates, which should be 5 athletes with injured in knee and not limited to the special, should start a rehabilitation training for one month from May to June in 2010, twice per week and 45 minutes once. The comparison with knee activity and maximal strength index between the period before and after the experiment will prove the validity of water recovery. All test should be finished by Bidex multi-joint constant-speed strength measure and rehabilitation machine. The plan uses T-test method to check the difference in 60°/s centripetal contraction, 180°/s eccentric contraction and 0.05 level.Conclusion:(1) Because of the characteristics of different sports, the injured places are different. Various kinds of rehabilitation in water fits for different injured places which is helpful to avoid the second injured and ensure the effects of exercises. (2) The rehabilitation in water is helpful for the mobility of joints. (3) The results of Biodex illustrate that the rehabilitation in water could increase the strength and endurance of quadriceps muscle of thigh and hamstrings. The exercises in water are helpful for the injures in sports which takes action in rehabilitation and relieving pains, but the recovery is based on the rehabilitation plan for individuals in details. (4) The rehabilitation method in water needs an exercise plan in details which is based on the injured place and rehabilitation steps, and the sport load needs to be changed by the rehabilitation condition. Moreover, the guide of doctors or therapists is also needed. (5) Because of the unbalance development in different parts of China and many restrictions in equipments or experiences of coaches, only few Chinese athletes have tried to rehabilitation in water. |
