There are many problems in learning a second language. Some of the problems are caused by the psychological factors, while some are caused by lacking efforts or ineffective learning methods. Of all the reasons, psychological factors play a crucial role. This paper will take an explicit psychoanalysis in learning a second language. The paper gets involved psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, second language acquisition, etc. Through psychoanalyses, learners can be fully aware of the psychological influences in second language learning. Learning a second language needs learners' positive psychological factors such as drive and determination. Together with the general psychoanalyses, this paper has particularly mentioned some problems in listening or speaking. Learners can make great improvements in second language learning with the help of the psychoanalyses.
