Since the emergence of NC machine tools, NC machine tools in the equipmentmanufacturing industry has an unprecedented development in various fields. Whereindomestic research of NC machine tools cutting noble metal is still relatively less,although foreign countries have got advanced technology,and their technology blockadeagainst China, or some of China’s imports have fallen behind out of the machine. Plusmore people are keen on noble metal products, which makes this noble metal jewelryindustry has a pretty good prospect. In this context, a Shenzhen company has developedan innovative new type of NC machine tools. The NC machine tools is designed entirelyby experience, so knowledge of such a dynamic and static characteristics of NCmachine tools is not very comprehensive. In order to improve the manufacturingprecision and ensure the quality of jewelry noble metal in the process, the subject comeinto being. The auther hopes that through the optimization of the structure improve thiscompact NC machine’s overall dynamic and static characteristics.In this paper, author constructs a three-dimensional modeling of this new NCmachine tools by using software PRO/E, and calculate the loads imposed on, carry outthen the three-dimensional model meshing, and make a finite element static analysis inANSYS, which shows equivalent stress and equivalent strain contours and calculate themaximum equivalent stress and maximum equivalent strain values.First introduce the eigenvalues and modal analysis of the structure,and use inverseiteration method to solve the smaller eigenvalue or lowest few natural frequencies,modal without calculating larger eigenvalues or relatively high natural frequency. Alsomake a structual analysis of the frequency response solution by using the direct methodand modal method. ANSYS is also used to do the whole of NC machine tools modalanlysis, and obtain the natural frequencies of the first six, and the compare the operatingfrequency range of the machine tool fixtures and tools, and also carry out on the tip flatfrequency response analysis.Proposed the concept of optimization, the three elements of the requiredoptimization and optimization function etc. This paper also make a sensitivity analysisof the structural parameters of main supporters-the columns and the base through therelationship between the maximum deformation and the structure parameters, andoptimize the structural parameters. Ultimately determine the column and the base of themain structural parameters, reduce1.5%of the whole mass, increase8.25%in the firstfrequency band, and verify its correctness.
