Recently, the alarm of environmental degradation is sounded again as the result ofgeological disasters and abnormal worldwide weather such as haze weather in most of thearea china, which make people around the world pay more attention to the environmentalprotection, energy saving and low carbon life. It must adapt to the current grim background ifautomobile industry can develop rapidly, lightweight automobile becomes an inevitabledirection of automotive industry. As one of the lightweight mainstream materials, itsapplication and special technology (hot press) have a rapid development. Rapid hot presshydraulic press is an important equipment completing car body parts such as automobile ABcolumn, bumper.Among damage forms of mechanical equipment and engineering structures, the mostcommon is fatigue damage after withstanding multiple alternating load. Frame,workingunder heavy load, is an key component of hydraulic press. When designing, the frame iscrucial to design, it is necessary to ensure a certain stiffness, in addition,the structure fatigueis also essential, Only considering these factors roundly,can we guarantee the normal work ofthe hydraulic press.Using CAD/CAE technology, with rapid hot forming hydraulic press YT25-1000as atypical prototype, the solid modeling of the hydraulic machine is built by CAD softwareSolidworks,and then through the ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis software,therapid hot press hydraulic press frame quasi-static analysis is completed, the value anddistribution of deformation、stress and strain of its main components under preloaded andfull load condition are obtained,according to the results of the finite element analysis,thedangerous part of the frame where fatigue failure may occur is forecasted.On the basis of the quasi-static analysis results, and with the Miner linear damageaccumulation theory and stress-life method (S-N curve theory),the fatigue life analysis offrame and its main major components, is carried out.All of these provide theoretical basis fordesign of hydraulic press frame, ensure the normal work of hydraulic press, reduce theaccident and economic loss caused by the fatigue damage.Considering long holding time of hydraulic press required by hot press process, factorsinfluencing fatigue life of hydraulic press such as work load, pre-loaded, holding pressure, arediscussed.
