The steel wire wound frame of 400 MN hydraulic die forging press is one of the best heavy die forging hydraulic press and plays an important role in China. The whole frame adopts bumpy ridge joining and steel wire wound pre-stressed structure, which is subdivided into small ones, and then the whole frame function is realized by steel wire wound. When the hydraulic die forging press is working, there is a reciprocating process of mold-hold-open,the deformation constraint and lateral force change of the movable beam to the frame during the cycle will cause periodic fluctuation of the shear force between adjacent sub-parts especially under eccentric load condition. Therefore, the integrity of the frame and the shear fatigue of the interface are vital to the safe service of the hydraulic press. The steel wire wound frame of 400 MN hydraulic die forging press frame was taken as the research object in this article. The dynamic performance analysis of the frame under the pre-stressed force was carried out.The first ten natural frequencies and mode shapes are extracted to study the effect of various vibration modes and their effects on the performance of the hydraulic machine are analyzed. The change law of the natural frequency of frame under different pre-stressed factors, and influence of bumpy ridge joining structure on dynamic performance of hydraulic press were studied.Secondly,a new type of collapse(fatigue)test device was designed for the small sample of the body, which overcame a series of shortcomings, such as the complicated structure of the original experimental device, the inconvenience of clamping, the small sample and the inability to change the size of the fit surface, and the non-pure shear force of the structure. After the problems were solved, the test accuracy was improved, and the fit factor experiment was performed. Finally, the microscale finite element model of small sample fit structure was established to carry out static analysis and fatigue life analysis using NX imageware,Solidworks,Abaqus and Fe-safe software. The effects of tangential load, loading frequency and fit factor on fatigue life of buckling structure were also studied. This study can provides a certain reference for the design of the heavy forging die hydraulic press.
