BOF which mainly for molten steel smelting work is an important equipment in long process.50t converter equipment work high frequency, the average 23min once. Their normal work and constantly improve the reliability is very important to he smelting of continuity. Converter equipment system structure and complex operating environment, while the converter equipment system for the transformation of post-expansion design, there is a design flaw in the cooling water system, furnace assembly, tilting furnace systems and support systems, resulting in lower system reliability converter device.This thesis. based on the analysis of the domestic and international reliability study,applied reliability theory and method, aimed at the real condition of the stainless steel billit concaster and defined the system reliability index. It based on the study and analysis of concaster’S equipment running status in 2009 to 2012, utilized the system reliabilitymoulding method of complex connection and reliability analysis to calculate the index reliability, MTTR, MTBF, Failure rate for the stainless steel billit concaster and obtained the system process failure mode. At the same time a year that affect system Reliability converter equipment and 10 years to find a converter device Reliability system design weaknesses and major problems exist.Based on experience in the design and reliability of the data analysis, the presence of the converter equipment system cooling water system design flaws, the converter slag panels, furnace shell, ear drive shaft bearings, gears and large tilting furnace reducer flange to optimize the design, through the optimization of the cooling water system piping arrangement, slag panels redesigned, trunnion bearing widened, big way to change gear cutting, gear tilting furnace with flanges wide converter equipment, etc. on the implementation of the system optimization design transformation, implementation effect validation, furnace body cooling water system to achieve a life of service to synchronize with the BOF, slag panels extend the life of double oven pour eliminate leakage, furnace tilting system is running smoothly.The reliability of the converter equipment system optimization theory-based design to improve the converter device system reliability, reduces equipment failure rate, improve equipment operating economy.
