Fiber Reinforce Plastic (FRP) is a kind of composite materials which has high specific intensity ,high specific rigidity ,low density, excellent corrosion-resistance . Filament winding(FW) is a kind of FRP forming process which is widely used in aeronautics , astronautics and other fields.In this paper ,a FW pattern is designed for a special part , and a FWM outline is put forward to make the FW pattern come true.Firstly , several basic FW patterns have be analyzed . Since the axis of the part is not on the same line , it may be necessary to amend the part in order to make it ease to produce. The amend include adding additional segments on both sides of the part and modifying juncture .After doing these , geodesic FW pattern has been designed for each subsection. The amend make pattern more even .Secondly , by referring principles of other FWMs , four projects has been bring forward .After doing some compare, a new FWM outline has been selected for the special FW pattern. Its most basic motions are the delivery head rotational axis and the mandrel motion axis.Then , the problem of the outline , that is the FWM can not supply filament well while winding , has been well soluted . After finishing worktable layout , motion analyze of the worktable in each direction has been made to verify the validity of the FWM.
