| As one of key anti-shock and disaster reduction projects in provincial and civic Eleventh Five-Year Plan, Wei'nan seismic micro-zoning will provide the basis for quake-resistant and seismic fortification of urban planning, urban construction and significant construction project, and improve an ability of defense geologic hazard. Engineering geology zoning is an important component of the Wei'nan seismic micro-zoning project and each kind of graphic document foundation bases on it. For a long time, people has systematic researched on the engineering geology zoning in Wei'nan, but the research on it involved with seismic micro-zoning was relatively small.Engineering geology zoning takes the Wei'nan seismic micro-zoning project as the objective. The seismic micro-zoning project values engineering geological conditions of the site. Especially local site conditions have effects on ground shock. Thus it is very important that engineering geologic unit division should base on site conditions. Engineering geological zoning mainly considers some engineering geologic conditions, such as relief, structure, rock-soil mass type, engineering geological feature, hydro geologic condition, unfavorable geological phenomena, etc. So, firstly, the engineering geologic units are divided initially based on existing datum. Secondly, site reconnaissance should be carried out on the engineering geological units so as to proofread the existing unit boundary. Further, thesis fixes on some important site condition as zoning basis, and carries on two, third-level districts. Finally, thesis works out engineering geological zoning map and related maps.The thesis adopts the principles of "similar within district and different out district" and takes relief, structure, formation lithology, saturated soft loess and heavy fill as zoning basis. Further, carries on the third-level district in Wei'nan. Finally, it altogether is divided into 1 districts,4 sub-districts, and 9 sections. |
