Along with the raising level of injection molding processes, plastic products plays an increasingly important role in the production and life. When producing large plastic products, generally multi-gate hot runner injection molds were used. But for the complexity of the mold structure, the cavity filling was difficult to balance, and the number of weld lines were large, which seriously affected the quality of the appearance and mechanical properties of large plastic parts. To solve this problem, a set of new method to mold large plastic products based on timing control thchnology was put forward, which using multi-gate sequence control technology. Namely based on original hot runner injection molding machine hydraulic circuit that was controlled by configuration software was installed, and achieving multi-gate sequence control system, thus in injection molding process the material flow out of the branch of each gate was step by step, to achieve the"dynamic feeding", which can well solve the problems in traditional production, for example cavity filling unbalanced, numbers of weld lines and other shortcomings. This method broke through the limitations of the traditional injection molding, and has a very important meanings in plastic parts production.For how to control the filling process of order valve pouring, set molding process parameter, improve the appearance and using performance of products and injection mold structure design, this article takes the car door trim panels for example to the follow research:(1) Using the basic theory of polymer rheology, according to the reasonable simplified and assume the mathematical model of the car door interior panels molding flow process was built, and the Cross-WLF equation was determined to describe the melt viscosity characteristics, and the finite element/finite difference method, control volume method were used to solve the mathematical model.(2) Researching the CAE technology in valve sequence pouring process, then according to the application of flowing balance theory to analyze the filling model of valve sequence pouring, valve gate opening and closing time and controlling way, solved the gate optimization problems of valve type pouring.(3) Using Moldflow software to analyze and simulate the valve sequence pouring model of car door trim panels, established three sets of gate location, combined with the orthogonal experiment scheme contrast the weld line, molecular orientation, air trap and flowing front temperature of each scheme, and got better results.(4) According to the result of CAE analysis, through Pro/E software and its EMX module to design the overall structure of the mold, and improved the accuracy of the mold design.
