2-(butyl-nitro amino) ethyl nitrate (BuNENA) is an energetic plasticizer, and the acidity of BuNENA used in military is relatively low. The conventional post-processing is standing separate fluid. There are some disadvantages in conventional methods, such as a long time to achieve the balance, low safety and little possiblity to achieve continuous industrial production. Based on the characteristics of BuNENA and the advantages of centrifugal extractors, the post-processing of BuNENA by annular centrifugal extractor has been studied in this thesis. The simulation software of annular centrifugal extractor has been established andΦ50mm annular centrifugal extractor has been developed; hydraulic characteristics ofΦ20mm annular centrifugal extractor have been studied; the technology of small-scale and pilot-scale using annular centrifugal extractor was initially discussed.According to the mass-transfer theory of annular centrifugal extractor, the simulation software of annular centrifugal extractor has been established.The simulation degree of the soft is 96.3% by being modified and verified.Φ50mm annular centrifugal extractor was developed based on the simulation software andΦ20mm annular centrifugal extractor. Hydraulic experiments ofΦ50mm annular centrifugal extractor show that the range of flow ratio (organic/aqueous) it can process is from 1/5 to 5/1, and the maximum through put is 150 L/h. Hydraulic characteristics ofΦ20mm annular centrifugal extractor have been studied. The results show that its hydraulic characteristics are stable, the maximum separation capacity (Q) is about 110 mL,ΔQ<5 mL; residence time(t) is about 9 s,Δt< 2s; interface radius (ri) is about 4.40mm,Δri<0.2mm.The post-processing of BuNENA by annular centrifugal extractors shows that the pH of BuENNA in three-stage cross-flow of small-scale and pilot-scale is 3.05 and 3.17 respectively, treatment effect is better than using conventional methods six times, meeting the requirement of military application; residence time is about 9s, much less than using conventional methods, so work efficiency is higher; the highest friction sensitivity of post-processing is 2.36N-m, less than BuNENA friction sensitivity of 24.5N·m, rising temperature of washing and alkaline washing is 0.24℃and 0.20℃respectively, and the structure of the device is compact, so it is safer; it is available for multistage-series to achieve continuous industrial production.
