A massive of dispersants, in the coordination of the relevant departments, is usually sprayed into the sea in order to eliminate the large area of oil slick. However, the use of dispersants inevitably would bring excess pollution to the marine ecological environment, and it is necessary to assess the risk of the toxic of the crude oil and dispersant to marine organisms. The research of acute toxicity of crude oil and dispersant to marine organisms is the foundation of the evaluation the oil pollution’s damage to the marine environment and marine fishery. Therefore in this paper, Plaayjnonas helgolandica, Dicrateria sp. and Chlorella are selected separately to carry out96h acute toxicity tests with venezuela crude oil and GM-2dispersant, excepting to provide the basic data for the risk assessment after the oil spill accident and providing some basis for the regulation of dispersant use and management. The results of the study show that the96h-LC50of three kinds of algae to GM-2dispersant is Chlorella(50.1mg/L)>Platymoonas helgolandica(20.Omg/L)>Dicrateria sp.(2.1mg/L), and the dispersant is highly toxic to all kinds of algae. To all setting concentrations, the96h-LC50of three kinds of algae to WAF is Chlorella(100.Omg/L)> Dicrateria asp.(63.1mg/L)>Platymonas helgolandica(50.lmg/L), and to dis-WAF is Platymonas helgolandica(250.0mg/L)>Chlorella(239.lmg/L)>Dicrateria sp.(195.8mg/L). By the comparison, the study results demonstrated that, to the three kinds of algae, the strongest toxicity is dispersant, followed by WAF, and dis-WAF is the weakest.
