Research Of The CAD/CAM System Of Computer Sewing Based On Embedded System

Computer sewing machine is a high-speed auto sewing equipment，which is basedon embedded system and used for clothing，bags and other suture，Compared withmanual sewing machine，its flexibility of design，high efficient and high speed are adaptto the development of modern automated factory. The research of computer sewingmachine’s CAD/CAM system meets market demand.By analysis of sewing technology and the features of sewing moving control，acomputer sewing CAD/CAM system，based on a configuration of ARM9,Wince5.0andhigh-performance four axis moving control card，has been put forward. Analysis ofcurrent mainstream sewing format and sewing process, A new type of binary structuresewing pattern format-SDT/BAS-has been designed. After that, drawing and adaptivedisplay of sewing pattern has been researched under MFC programming environment. Bystudying algorithm of calculating control points of3times B-spline and homogenizationof curve discrete, detail design and implementation of sewing pattern customization byuse of OOP. By analysis of distortion in edition and conversion of traditional patternformat, edition without distortion of sewing pattern has been completed.The emulation of sewing movement and translation from pattern to sewing frameshave been designed on base of the new type sewing pattern format and analysis featuresof sewing moving control.This new designed computer sewing CAD/CAM system，with in use of new typepattern format, can design all kinds of sewing pattern and transfer them into sewingmovement control data efficiently. The edition and conversion of sewing pattern areconvenient, efficient and high-fidelity. Machine system’s efficiency of secondarycustomizing and sewing movement can be evidently increased, with achieving a highspeed of2800spm，which is the international standard. Computer sewing machinewith this CAD/CAM system, were put into market, and performance well.
