With the rapid development of the apparel industry and the increased demand for highly intelligent of sewing equipment, it has great significance for the development of the pattern control system. Combined with the finite state machine(FSM) theory, the paper study the requirements of sewing process and design the control process of computer pattern sewing machine movement and its implementation.The main contents are as follows:The paper analyzes the development trend of domestic and foreign sewing industry. Study the computer technical requirements of the sewing machine sewing process control system and analyzes the control demand of the sewing machine. With introduced the FSM theory, we will be put state and behavior of complex systems together. It is very suitable for the development of thesewing machine control system. The paper introduced several expressions of the FSM.The paper analyzes the motion process of the sewing computerand design its sub-module. There is a simple comparison of the nuances of state diagram and flowchart. They are different but also closely related. The paper finally use flow chart to represent. Based on the finite state machine to complete the framework of the overall system and each function module control process design. Finally analyzes the implementation process for each flowchart.Based on the previous design of the sewing process, the paper complete the sewing motion control software, using the nested switch technology to achieve the design of the FSM. Designing the corresponding structures to store the sewing process data as thecomplex of the sewing process parameters. The paper make full use of the advantages of the FSM theory of complex systems. It not only greatly shorten the development cycle, but also result to a simple framework.Through several experimental tests, we find that the stitches is beautiful and soft.The resultachieve the desired goals and reach the sewing process requirements.The results show that the design is feasible. Finally, the paper summed up the completion of the project. In this paper, we propose a new design approach for the sewing machine motion pattern. It not only guarantees thequality of sewing,but also greatly simplify the subsequent expansion and maintenance.
