1Background and objectivePost-traumatic headache is a common clinical symptom, most patients can get good recovery after proper treatment. Patients also had to leave the headache, dizziness, memory loss and other symptoms, if the treatment was not normal or effective, they even developed post-traumatic brain syndrome and affecting their work and life, so the system treatment of headache should be actively investigated. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the treatment effect that lumbar puncture and oxycodone-acetaminophen tablet treated the moderate to severe headache patients.2Materials and methods2.1Materials368patients were selected complaining headache symptoms of craniocerebral injury from200601months to201207months in our department, male235cases, female133cases; The age ranging from18to72years old, average34.8years old;108cases of traffic accident, falling or injuries in102cases, blunt head injury in97cases, other injury in61cases; All the patients are conservative treatment and Coma within30min, without operation indication, GCS13-15, the main clinical manifestations were headache, or following dizziness, nausea and vomiting, clinical type wer belonged to the light or moderate traumatic brain injury, cervicogenic headache and neuralgic scalp pain were eliminated; Pain intensity (PI) was evaluated by visual analogue scale (VAS); According to the degree of pain patients were divided into mild headache (n=154,13points)and moderate to severe headache (n=214,4---10points); Pat ients of post-traumatic headache were divided randomly into control group (n=128) and treatment group (n=240); Comparison of the two groups had no significant difference in general data.2.2MethodsThe control group of mild headache patients (n=81) were treated with brain nutrition and the treatmentgroup of mild headache patients (n=73) were added to oxycodone-acetaminophen tablet; The moderate to severe headache patients (n=47) in control group were treated with brain nutrition and dehydration drug such as Mannitol or glycerol fructose, the treatment group of moderate to severe headache patients (n=167) were divided into three groups according to the methods of theatment:group of oral oxycodone-acetaminophen tablet (n=55), group of lumbar puncture (n=55), group of lumbar puncture associating with oral oxycodone-acetaminophen tablet; then treatment effects were observed.3ResultsTime of al leviating symptom significantly in mild headache patients:the difference of the control group and experimental group was not significant(P=0.558). t ime of alleviat ing system s igni ficantly in moderate to severe headache patients:experimental group were better than the control group(F=77.721P<0.001).4ConclusionThe patients of post-trauma t ic headache wi th moderate to severe pa in were treated with lumbar puncture and oral oxycodone-acetaminophen tablet, which can reduce the headache symptom time significantly and shorten the course of the disease, accelerating recovery and being worthy of promotion.
