The Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Invigorating The Kidney And Du Meridian Removing Blood Stasis And Activating Meridians For As Due To Symdrome Of Renal And Du Meridian Dificiency Blockage Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory whole body disease which mainly involves sacroiliac joints and spine. Its characters are inflammatory muscle tendon and ligaments inflammation. Its characters are inflammatory muscle tendon inflammation, peri-Arthritis and manifestation out of joints. AS mainly attacks sacroiliac joints, spine and limb joints. It results in calcification of joints and tissues, ligaments, inter-bertebral discs around joints. At last it will develop to bony ankylosis. At present AS’etiological factor isn’t clear. It results in absence of aiming treatment and unsatisfactory in effect. Traditional Chinese medicine has good effect in curing AS patients, some efficiency TCM treatment methods have being developed.This article has studieded the theory and observed clinic effect of invigorating the kidney and DU meridian, removing blood stasis and activating meridians which treat ankylosing spondylitis due to symdrome of renal and DU meridian deficiency, blockage of phlegm and blood stasis.In the theoretical research: By analysing the relevant literature with what have studied from expeience of my tutor and myself. In our opinion, the etiopathogenisis of AS consists of renal and DU meridian deficiency, derectly invasion of external pathogenic wind-cold-dampness stagnates, both of above block QI and blood of DU meridian, which stagnate in arthritis, tendons and bones and musculars. And the main pathogenesis is renal and DU meridian deficiency, blockage of phlegm and blood stasis, which established the treatment of invigorating the kidney and DU meridian, removing blood stasis and activating meridians for AS due to symdrome of renal and DU meridian deficiency, blockage of phlegm and blood stasis.In the clinical observation: Guided by the treatment of invigorating the kidney and DU meridian, removing blood stasis and activating meridians. We prescribe Qiangduchubi decoction (Duhuojishengtang/Taohongsiwutang adjusted) to observe 15 ankylosing spondylitis patients due to renal and DU meridian deficiency, blockage of phlegm and blood stasis after 12 weeks. Results of clinical observation, the effective rate of treat group was 86.7%, which significantly surpassed the effective rate of the control group 46.7% (P＞0.05). In conclusion, Qiangduchubi decoction has good effects which can improve clinical symptom, joint function and regulate immune function, enhance the patients living quality and improve internal enviroment and so on. Its also has little adverse reaction in comparison with controlled group. The prescription had a practical value for ankylosing spondylitis due to renal and DU meridian deficiency, blockage of phlegm and blood stasis.
