Objective:This topic made syndrome differentiation treatment plan through long-term clinical experience of teacher Zhou, and carried out the prospective studies of the syndrome differentiation treatment under the guidance of teacher Zhou. Method:This study selected the cases from Hubei University of traditional Chinese medicine clinic and Hubei provincial hospital of TCM from January 2008 to December 2014. Western medicine diagnostic standard, TCM syndrome differentiation standard case, case inclusion criteria, eliminate, syndrome differentiation and treatment scheme, observation of treatment, syndrome integral and outcome were made by The world health organization male sterility standardized examination, and the experience of teacher Zhou. Diagnostic manual version 5 and the traditional Chinese medicine new medicine clinical research guiding principles. This research is to statistic the curative effect which included the card type, primary and secondary disease curative effect, semen analysis effects and the curative effect of disease cause infertility. Result:This topic observed in accordance with the inclusion criteria of 356 cases of male infertility patients. There were total 131 patients have recovered in the 356 cases of patients which have six months of treatment, accounting for 36.8% and total effective rate was 88.5%. The curative effect has certain correlation with the patient’s age and course of the disease, the curative effect will gradually reduce with the growth of the age and the course of the extension. From the perspective of the distribution of TCM syndrome types, the top three syndromes were syndrome of deficiency of kidney-essence、syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis and syndrome of Kidney deficiency,there were 89 cases, 64 cases and 46 cases. From the point of the curative effect of each card type, the syndrome of dampness heat diffusing downward has highest curative effect for treating, the cure rate was 52.8% and total effective rate was 100%.The syndrome of deficiency of kidney-essence has minimum curative effect for treating, cure rate was 28.1% and total effective rate was 83.1%. From the point of syndrome efficacy results, including the symptoms and signs, the patient’s clinical symptoms improved more easily, but the improvement of the testis and epididymis, spermatic cord signs were more difficult. From the statistical results of disease diagnose and treatment, prostatitis, epididymitis and seminal vesicle phlogistic had relatively high total effective rate. The chromosome, pituitary and testis had relatively low total effective rate. Conclusion:Teacher Zhou got good curative effect in clinical syndrome differentiation treatment of male infertility. The plan of syndrome differentiation treatment had scientific and practical, which made by Teacher Zhou. This study provided guidance value for syndrome differentiation and treatment of male infertility.
