Purpose: Through Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome type induction and analysis on exogenous fever of pediatric to determine its basic syndrome, our research is aim to make the dialectical theory of governance of exogenous fever of pediatric more standard and then to improve efficacy. Methods:We choose 500 children who got exogenous fever and saw a doctor in pediatric clinic of hu zhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2014 to August 2015.Then self-designed questionnaire were employed to record each children’s name, sex, age, symptom, signs and so on. For the normal information, frequency and chi-square test were used to analyze. While for the syndrome of exogenous fever of pediatric, we used Two-Step Cluster and frequency to analyze and then make a conclusion of classification and distribution of TCM syndrome of exogenous fever of pediatric.Results:1.Among500 children who are in our questionnaire, the proportion of men and women is 1.11 to 1 and their averages age are 5.1±2.52. For the children who are between 1 and 3 years old, the rate of getting exogenous fever is 36.4%. Between 3 and 6 years old, the rate is 29.0%. In a year, autumn and winter are the two seasons seem more likely to get pathogenesis and the syndrome is more likely to be of high temperature.2. For the drug use of children who got exogenous fever in our questionnaire, Antipyretics are mainly used in Western medicine and heat-clearing drugs are mainly used and warm drug are less used in traditional Chinese medicine.3. The distribution of exogenous fever of pediatric is wind-cold type, wind-heat type, Among of these, the rate of wind-cold type is 53.2%, the rate of wind-heat type is 46.8%, So from all of those data, we can clearly see that the most number is wind-cold type.Conclusion:1. In our hospital, the TCM syndrome types of exogenous fever of pediatric are wind-cold type, wind-heat type, And among all these types, wind cold type occupies the most number.2.In our hospital, for the age of children who are more likely to get exogenous fever is between 1 and 6 years old. And they are more likely to have high temperature. This exogenous fever happens every season and more likely to occur in autumn and winter. For the treatment, we mainly used Antipyretics in Western medicine and heat-clearing drugs are mainly used and warm drugs are less used in traditional Chinese medicine.
