Nowadays, with the rapid development of technology, media and Internet, people will be able to send and receive all types of texts, images, voice, video, and many other information to the world through the Internet by simply sliding smartphone, touching Tablet PC, opening network TV and other emerging digital products. Our lives and learning environment are full of all kinds of complicated and dense visual information: photo news, selfie, micro media and those share in circle of friends. If we don’t pay attention, visual information may fleet away. If we further studies, we will enter an era of "Visual Culture"."Visual Culture" is not only increasingly affecting values and aesthetic perception among young students but also changing as a new visual art of modern media art teaching philosophy in senior high school.With modern media art teaching target in high school of our country as the guide, and specific modern media art teaching cases which is under the background of visual culture as the instruction, this thesis is based on the high school art of modern media art teaching module, which is under the background of visual culture and grounded on the theory research at home and abroad of visual culture and modern media art. We integrate the background of visual culture into high school art teaching module of the moderrn media art, to guide the young student in the visual culture, make them have sharp sense of the media and visual world, so they can identify and understand the variety of visual culture information in their life and cultivate their visual literacy and improve their aesthetic quality. We use interactive modern media art practice activities of high school to stimulate young students’ learning interest in modern media art and independent and innovative thinking skill. Visual culture not only has an extensive influence on the modern media art teaching of high school but also has important practical and theoretical significance on the reform of the high school art education in China.
