Cold forging press will inevitably vibrate during operation, the vibration will not only bring greater noise will also affect the accuracy of the equipment, quality of the workpiece, and the operation will cause some harm to health personnel. This paper takes the 12500 k N cold forging press as the research object, analysis of the main reasons that cause press vibration and damping measures.The establishment of a three-dimensional model of the transmission mechanism of the cold forging press, Inertia force transmission mechanism were analyzed to obtain the upper link of the wedge slider equivalent inertia force curve by applying software ADAMS. The results showed that the inertia force of transmission mechanism is mainly related to the total body weight and slider speed; and the pin shaft and the wedge slide hinge joint problem can be solved by applying a balance force.The establishment of a flywheel system vibration model, and its vibration characteristic curve is obtained. The disturbing force can be reduced by the dynamic balance test of the flywheel system, and reducing vibration of press. Analysis of the vibration source may exist in the transmission system, and calculate its excitation frequency.Through the finite element modal analysis of the cold forging press, the finite element modal frequencies and modal shapes are obtained. The influences of different modal shapes on the press are analyzed, and proposing some improvement measures.Corresponding damping measures are proposed for each vibration of the cold forging press caused by source vibration; introduced theory of vibration isolation and vibration isolation elements and application conditions, provid ing the reference for the cold forging press vibration isolation component selection and installation. Cold forging press noise sources are analyzed, and proposing the measures to reduce the noise. By noise detection, indicating that the cold forging press correspond to national noise limit standard.
