As one of the mature technologies of producing shaft parts,Cross wedge rolling technology has advantages of high material utilization rate,high production efficiency,low production cost,forming high quality than other traditional production technology.So it is why Cross wedge rolling technology used widely.At present,Cross wedge rolling technology focuses on the production of shaft parts,so the study of the characteristic parts such as the Jujube arc parts is still scarce.Based on the theoretical knowledge of cross wedge rolling,research and analysis the forming process of specific jujube-arc parts.Two kinds of forming schemes are used respectively on the roll forming and plate forming.One of the forming schemes was simulated by plate simulation method.The ProE software are used drew the model,then Simulated the Jujube arc parts by DEFORM-3D finite element analysis software.The Analysis of stress and strain in axial section and central cross-section and the deformation loads in the X,Y,Z three directions change in the law during cross wedge rolling according to the simulation results.At the same time,the influences of initial temperature and rolling speed on the rolling center temperature and the influence of rolling force were researched.The causes of the rolling phenomenon were analyzed by using the metal displacement method.The crack defect area is analyzed by using the deformation of the area in the center of the workpiece is analyzed by the point trace function in DEFORM-3D.Finally,we obtained the Jujube arc parts with good forming effect by doing experiments,and detected the cracks in the internal of the rolling pieces.The metallographic experiments verified the existence of cracks.Finally,a method for eliminating cracks by reducing the rolling temperature and rolling speed is proposed.
