The technology of cross wedge rolling is an axial part of new process and new technology. It is widely used in the rolling technology. It is especially used for the axial parts of rolling. The rolling takes on many advantages such as high production efficiency, saving material, higher product precision and so on. In the practical production, the cross wedge rolling technology of axial symmetrical parts has been applied widely. The kind of cross wedge rolling product is constantly increased. With the cross wedge rolling technology of wide application and many advantages, more and more parts are used the cross wedge rolling forming method.The subject starting from the actual needs of production, in allusion to the parts which are never used the rolling methods, skew rolling and the cross wedge rolling are respectively discussed in this paper. The main work include the analysis of the skew rolling and cross wedge rolling, the numerical simulation of skew rolling with different incline angle, the choosing optimal parameter of forming result, the numerical simulation of cross wedge rolling with different technology parameter, the analysis of simulation result and optimizing technology parameter, the designing of skew rolling and cross wedge rolling mould, the reforming guide plate of skew rolling and designing guide plate of cross wedge rolling.Skew rolling and cross wedge rolling are researched in this article.Rolling method is chose according to character of parts. The main forming stage of the skew rolling and the cross wedge rolling is particularly introduced. The UG three-dimensional software is adopted to build the different models according to different technology parameters. DEFORM-3D simulation software is adopted to do the numerical simulation. The simulation results are analyzed and the appropriate parameters are chose to process the mould. The former fixed guide plate of skew rolling is reformed to the guide plate of circular chain structure. Successive rolling is realized by reformed. The guide plate of cross wedge rolling is designed and the rolling process is realized.
