Clinical Observation Of Jieduxiaoying Decoction In Treating Subacute Thyroiditis Heat Toxin Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of Jieduhuaying Decoction in the treatment of Subacute thyroiditis heat toxin syndrome.Methods: According to the inclusion criteria,60 patients with subacute thyroiditis treated in the endocrinology department of our hospital were randomly divided into Observation group and treatment group with 30 cases in each group.two groups were given prednisolone tablets 30mg/d,respectively.At the same time,we adjusted the dosage of prednisolone according to the patients’ clinical symptoms,signs and changes of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR).In addition,the observation group took jieduhuaying decoction while taking prednisone tablets.The total course of treatment was 8 weeks were observed before and after treatment,the clinical symptoms,ESR,thyroid gland function changes,adverse reactions and recurrence.Results:1.Efficacy rate of TCM syndromes: The effective rate was 93.10% in the observation group and 83.33% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comprehensive efficacy evaluation: The total effective rate was 89.66% in the observation group and 76.67% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.TCM syndrome scores: The total scores of TCM symptoms decreased after treatment for the first week,the second week,the third week,and the fourth week(P<0.05).After the first week of treatment and after the second week,the observation group was more effective than the control group(P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference between the 3rd week and the 4th week after treatment(P>0.05).4.Individual symptoms and signs score: After 8 weeks of treatment,all scores decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).The goiter score was better in the observation group than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Thyroid function: After 2 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment,all indexes were better than those before treatment(P<0.01).After 2 weeks of treatment,the observation group of all indicators of nail power was better than the control group(P<0.05);After 4 weeks of treatment,there was no significant difference in the indicators of each group of Agong(P>0.05).6.ESR :The recovery days of ESR in the observation group were less than the treatment group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Adverse reaction rate: There were 12 patients with adverse reactions in the observation group and 21 patients in the control group.The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).8.Recurrence rate: There were 0 cases of recurrence in the observation group and 6 cases of recurrence in the control group.The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Jiedu Xiaoying Decoction can not only improve the clinical symptoms and signs,thyroid function and erythrocyte sedimentation rate of patients with subacute thyroiditis,but also can reduce the adverse reactions caused by hormones and reduce the recurrence rate.
