[Objective]To understand the prevalence of overweight and obesity in some preschool children in luomen street,gusu district,suzhou city,and to explore the influencing factors of overweight and obesity,so as to provide a basis for developing strategies to improve the occurrence of obesity in preschool children in luomen street.(Methods]The random cluster sampling method is adopted to select some preschool children in luomen street,gusu district,suzhou city.Through the data of children's physical examination,questionnaires were issued to the children's parents to understand the basic situation of preschool children,family situation,children's living conditions,parents' concept,etc.,and the influences of various factors on overweight and obesity were analyzed.[Results](1)Of the 952 kindergarteners,347 were 3 years old,accounting for 36.45%of the total population,363 were 4 years old,accounting for 38.13%of the total population,and 242 were 5 years old,accounting for 25.42%of the total population.There were 506 males,accounting for 53.15%of the total number,and 446 females,accounting for 46.85%of the total number.(2)Analysis shows that obesity and age,BMI whether suzhou hukou,parents,family structure,whether the only child,mother's pregnancy weight gain,the types of food preference,whether overeating,loss of appetite,eat speed,encouraged to eat more,parents think children size,whether know the consequences of obesity,the necessity of child obesity clinic,encouraged to eat more,children not to eat and so on.(3)Multivariate analysis showed that compared with the mother's BMI<24,the mother's BMI greater than OR equal to 24 was correlated with obesity(OR=2.208,P<0.05).Compared with nuclear families,single parent families were correlated with obesity(OR=2.241,P<0.05).In comparison,weight gain during pregnancy was less than 30kg,and weight gain during pregnancy was more than 30kg,which was correlated with obesity(OR=1.267,P<0.05).Compared with eating speed of more than 30 minutes,eating progress<15 minutes was correlated with obesity(OR=1.445,P<0.05).Compared with general OR poor appetite,good appetite was associated with obesity(OR=1.191,P<0.05).Parents believed that the body weight of children was correlated with obesity(OR=0.714,P<0.05),which was a protective factor.Parents believe that obesity is related to children's body type(OR=2.181,P<0.05).Compared with those who knew the negative consequences of obesity,they did not know the correlation between the negative consequences of obesity and obesity(OR=2.184,P<0.05).[Conclusion]The detection rate of overweight and obesity of preschool children in lumen street department was higher:Maternal BMI,family structure,maternal weight gain during pregnancy,eating speed,appetite,and some misconceptions of parents are the main negative factors of childhood obesity.And the parents correct idea is the child maintains the normal weight the protective factor.
