Clinical Study Of Gusen Zhutong Decoction In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation(Liver And Kidney Deficiency Type)

Objective: to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Gushen Zhutong decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with deficiency of liver and kidney,and to explore the guiding significance of the concept of simultaneous treatment of liver and kidney and equal emphasis on muscles and bones in the prevention and treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods: 72 patients with lumbar disc herniation with liver and kidney deficiency were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 36)and control group(n = 36)from November 2018 to December 2019 in the pain Department of the affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese Medicine.The treatment group was treated with oral Gushen Zhutong decoction,and the control group was treated with oral Zhuangyao Jianshen pills.The patients in both groups were treated with 2 weeks as a course of treatment and were observed and recorded.In this study,VAS,JOA score and Criteria for judging the curative effect of TCM syndromes were used as clinical efficacy evaluation indexes.The VAS score before and after treatment,JOA score after 2 weeks and 4 weeks treatment and the improvement of patients’ final symptoms and signs were compared.Through statistical analysis,the effectiveness and safety of this prescription were judged.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.11%,while that of the control group was 83.33%,After testing,there was a statistically significant difference in the curative effect between the two groups(p<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was better than the control group;Both groups could reduce VAS score and improve pain,and the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05);The JOA score was improved in both groups,and the JOA score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment(p<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The total effective rate of Gushen Zhutong decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation of liver and kidney deficiency was 86.11%,which was better thanthat of the control group.2.Gushen Zhutong decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with liver and kidney deficiency is superior to the control group in improving the scores of VAS and JOA.3.The treatment concept of simultaneous treatment of liver and kidney and equal emphasis on muscles and bones has important guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
