The Study On The Syntax Of Conghua Dialect

Conghua dialect is the important part of The Standard Cantonese,this paper described the main grammatical phenomena in Conghua dialect.Conghua dialect has the common characteristics of the Cantonese which retains many ancient Chinese elements in pronunciation and vocabular and it also has distinct individual characters in vocabular and grammar.So far,the study of Conghua dialect focuses on phonetics,there is no systematic study on the grammatical system of Conghua dialect.This paper analyzes the special grammatical phenomenon in conghua dialect about the reduplicative forms of verbs and adjective,the aspect system,adverbs,modal particles.At the same time,this paper compares the similarities and differences of Conghua dialect and reveals its grammar rules.Try to make an attempt of displaying and constructing the grammatical system of Conghua dialect.It is beneficial to understand Conghua dialect and provide the material and direction of studying Cantonese grammar.
