In recent years,the blended teaching model has become a hot spot for educators.In the new era,this teaching model has been given a new meaning;it embodies the teaching philosophy of teacher-led,student-centered and combines the advantages of traditional classroom teaching and online teaching.This new blended teaching model has a very positive significance in updating the current situation of “time-consuming and inefficiency” which exist in English listeningspeaking teaching for a long time.It also provides a new perspective for the reform of English listening-speaking teaching.At present,scholars have studied the blended teaching model in various subjects and various sections,but the application of blended teaching model to English listening-speaking teaching in higher vocational colleges is relatively scanty.As a front-line teacher engaged in English teaching,I think it is necessary to make a deep research on blended teaching model in order to improve the efficiency of English listening-speaking teaching in higher vocational colleges.This paper takes constructivism learning theory and mastery learning theory as the main theoretical basis.Based on the current situation of English listening-speaking in vocational colleges,it analyzes the researches of blended teaching model at home and abroad,and puts forward the research direction of this paper.That is to put the blended teaching model in practice in English listening-speaking teaching,so as to demonstrate the positive effect of this model on English listening-speaking.During the teaching practice,the author uses the online learning platform and the mobile communicative appliance QQ group as the teaching medium,and chooses Higher Vocational Practical English as the specific teaching content to conduct the teaching experiments.The purpose of this experiment is to answer the following three questions: First,what is the impact of the blended teaching model on the English Listening-speaking learning interest of higher vocational students? Second,what is the impact of the blended teaching model on the self-learning habit of English listening-speaking of higher vocational students? Third,what is the impact of the blended teaching model on the English listening-speaking learning effect of higher vocational students?The results show that: Firstly,the blended teaching model can effectively heighten the English learning interest of higher vocational students and enhance their learning motivation.Secondly,the blended teaching model can advance the development of self-learning habit of English of higher vocational students,and help to cultivate good learning habits such as preparing before class,exploring after class.Thirdly,the blended teaching model can improve the ability of English listening-speaking of higher vocational students at a certain degree.After the experiment,the students' enthusiasm for participating in listening-speaking activities has been boosted,their self-confidence in speaking English has been strengthened,and their comprehensive application ability of English has been increased.This proves that the blended teaching model used in English teaching in higher vocational colleges is effective.At the end of the research,this paper summarizes the shortcomings of the research and points out the direction of future exploration.That is how to better perform the hierarchical teaching to meet the needs of the higher vocational students with different English foundations.So that every student can get equal learning opportunities and personalized learning guidance.This deserves further research.
