Research On The Clinical Efficacy Of Liu's Push Five Meridians Combined With Three Antipyretic Maneuvers To Treat Children With Exogenous Fever

Objective:The three major antipyretic methods of Liu’s manipulation of pushing the Pentateuch and ibuprofen suspension are used for comparative study to evaluate the clinical efficacy of exogenous fever when using Liu’s infant massage and to provide effective treatment methods for clinical use.Methods:64 children who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into massage group and western medicine group with 32 cases in each group.The massage group was treated with three major antipyretic methods of Liu’s manipulation of pushing the Pentateuch,while the western medicine group was treated with western medicine ibuprofen suspension.Both groups were treated for 3 days.The changes of body temperature,antipyretic time,TCM symptom scores and clinical efficacy evaluation before and after treatment were observed and compared between the two groups.Results:1.There were comparable but no statistically significant difference between two groups of children in gender,age,disease distribution body temperature,scores of TCM syndromes(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the P values of the two groups of children’s body temperature before and after treatment were all less than 0.05,with significant differences,indicating that the two groups of treatment methods can improve body temperature.There was no significant difference in body temperature between the two groups at 0.5h after treatment(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in temperature at 2h after treatment(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in body temperature at 4h after treatment(P<0.01),indicating that there was a significant difference in body temperature between the two groups at 4h after treatment.After two groups of treatment,the body temperature shows slowly declining trend in 24 hours,48 hours and 72 hours.The difference in antipyretic time between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Massage group was superior to western medicine group.3.Improvement of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms.Before and after treatment,the massage group and the western medicine group can improve the symptoms of fever,aversion to cold,nasal obstruction,pharyngeal swelling and anorexia of children,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05),while the western medicine group has no significant difference in improving cough symptoms before and after treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,there was a significant difference in TCM symptom scores between western medicine group and massage group(P<0.05),indicating that massage group was superior to western medicine group in improving TCM clinical symptoms.4.After the end of treatment,the total effective rate of the Manipulation group was 83.33%and that of the western medicine group was 73.33%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical effect of the Manipulation group was better than that of the western medicine group.Conclusions:1.The three major antipyretic methods of Liu’s manipulation of pushing the Pentateuch and ibuprofen suspension can effectively reduce the body temperature of children,while the three major antipyretic methods of Liu’s manipulation of pushing the Pentateuch have stable antipyretic effect and good persistence.2.The three major antipyretic methods of Liu’s manipulation of pushing the Pentateuch can relieve fever faster and shorten the course of disease.They are superior to ibuprofen suspension in clinical efficacy and improvement of clinical symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese medicine.3.The three major antipyretic methods of Liu’s manipulation of pushing the Pentateuch is simple to operate,green,safe and effective in treating exopathic fever,which is worthy of further promotion.
