Research On Schedule Management Of BG Group’s 300 Ton RH Refining Furnace Transformation Project

Project schedule and schedule management control are very important components.The project control theory should be organically combined with the project management progress theory,applied in the specific practice of project construction and management,in order to guide the implementation of the project schedule more effectively,so as to ensure that the project can be completed on time.If the planning and progress of the project can be better controlled,the smooth progress of project construction will have a far-reaching impact on the economic benefits and development prospects of the project.This article takes BG Group’s 300t RH refining furnace renovation project as a research case,uses network diagrams and Gantt plans and other schedule management tools,and combines the BGsteel plant’s engineering project management practices,while fully considering the characteristics of the project,to RH refining furnace renovation project has conducted in-depth analysis and discussion.For the short construction period,complex construction conditions,and large number of participants,this project conducts relevant research and control of various factors involved in the construction process,As a result,it has formed a schedule and control management system with the characteristics of the BG Group.Based on the actual situation of the project,this paper proposes dynamic control tools and dynamic monitoring technologies on the basis of clear project organization structure,division of responsibilities,work breakdown and work management.At the same time,it compares and analyzes the actual schedule of the project,,it effectively adjusts the progress of the project and proposes reasonable solutions to ensure the progress and duration of the project.Through the establishment of project construction progress and control management system suitable for technological transformation projects,the progress of the project can be reasonably planned and adjusted,and the practical problems in the management of the project can be solved,in terms of project schedule and control management theory.The practical application of the project management has certain reference value.
