With the promotion of Chinese curriculum reform,the Senior High School Chinese Curriculum Standard(2017)puts forward new requirements for Chinese teaching.It combines Chinese learning content with 18 task groups."Learning of Foreign Writers ' Works" is one of the study task groups.It clearly stipulates that excellent foreign classic works should be taken as teaching content in teaching,highlighting the importance of excellent foreign writers' works in teaching.Project teaching is a form of Chinese teaching to implement "task group".Through Project teaching,the teacher allows students to read independently within the prescribed time and carry out cooperative exploration.Under the guidance of teachers,students learn through language practice activities such as reading-to-write and writing-to-read.This research takes the foreign writers' works in senier high school Chinese teaching as the object,combines them with the Project teaching from the perspective of learning task group,and discusses the teaching value of the two in theory and practice.Through analyse the multidirectional characteristics of Project teaching and the law of cognitive development of senior high school students,Combining the selected items and recommended books in the course standard of PEP edition textbooks,the paper provides the teaching basis for the special topic teaching in and out of the class.This study explains the value and significance of Project teaching of foreign writers' works.Questionnaire and interview were used to find out the problems existing in teaching from the students and teachers.According to the problems found,three specific teaching steps(Project preparation,Project implementation and Project evaluation)are carried out from fiver aspects(teaching principles,teaching objectives,teaching plans,teaching activities and teaching evaluation).The determination of teaching principles should be based on the curriculum standard,the characteristics of selected texts and the school's learning conditions.Teaching objectives can be divided into overall objectives and specific objectives.The overall objective is based on core literacy,and the specific objective is based on learning activities.The teaching plan should have a clear topic direction,integrated teaching resources and reasonable teaching hours.Teaching activities should be carried out in the scene.Teachers need to assign learning tasks and use the multi-evaluation system to feedback the teaching effect after taking the class.The concept and method of Project teaching can be the method to implement task group teaching.This study takes Chekhov's short stories as an example to implement teaching strategies and reflect on teaching.The results show that project teaching is an effective teaching method in line with the curriculum standard and has practical value.Project teaching can improve the current situation of teaching foreign writers' works in senior high school,which is not ideal,and provides a new idea for senior high school Chinese teachers to change their teaching methods and carry out the teaching of foreign writers' works.
