Objective:To investigate the status quo of self-disclosure,marital intimacy and psychosocial adjustment of postoperative patients with breast cancer. To explore the relationship between psychosocial adjustment level and marital intimacy and self-disclosure of patients after breast cancer surgery. To explore the mechanism of self-disclosure and marital intimacy on the level of psychosocial adjustment. Methods:A total of 195 patients with postoperative breast cancer were selected from 3 wards of the Surgery Department of Breast Cancer in a third-grade A cancer hospital in Nanchang City.General data questionnaire,Pain Disclosure Index Scale(DDI),Lock-Wallace Marital Adjustment Scale(MAT)and psychosocial adjustment questionnaire were used to investigate the patients with breast cancer.SPSS26 software was used for descriptive analysis,t test, variance analysis, correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis of the data.Process program was used to test the mediation model.Bootstrap analysis was used to test the significance of the mediation effect, and Model 4 was selected for analysis.Results:1.The self-disclosure score of postoperative breast cancer patients was 35.71±10.10 points,80.51% of which were in the low level of self-disclosure;The marital intimacy score was 97.79±23.53 points,54.36% of the patients had problems in the adjustment of marital intimacy.Psychosocial adjustment score was 143.46±28.49 points, among which 86.15% patients were at the low level of psychosocial adjustment. The average scores of the five dimensions were as follows: Anxiety and depression 23.25±4.81 points,self-esteem and self-acceptance 30.81±7.62 points, attitude 25.14±5.07 points,self-control and self-efficacy 30.79±6.41 points, belonging 33.48±6.07 points.2.There were statistical differences in psychosocial adjustment level of postoperative breast cancer patients with different marriage age, education level, occupation, average monthly family income, type of medical insurance, place of residence, time of diagnosis, clinical stage and surgical method(P < 0.05).3.The total score of self-disclosure after breast cancer was positively correlated with the total score of marital intimacy(r=0.391,P<0.001);The total score of self-disclosure was positively correlated with the total score of psychosocial adjustment(r=0.366,P<0.001).The total score of marital intimacy was positively correlated with the total score of psychosocial adjustment(r=0.397,P<0.001).4.Multiple linear regression analysis of the relationship between self-disclosure and marital intimacy of postoperative patients with breast cancer and psychosocial adjustment shows that self-disclosure and marital intimacy are the main influencing factors of psychosocial adjustment, together explaining 21.0% of the variation5.Self-disclosure indirectly affected patients’ psychosocial adjustment through marital intimacy, and the standardized effect size was 0.331(95%CI 0.148~0.534),accounting for 32.10% of the total effect. Conclusions:The self-disclosure and psychosocial adjustment of patients after breast cancer surgery were at a low level, and the intimate relationship between husband and wife was in disorder.Marriage age, education level, occupation, average monthly family income, type of medical insurance, place of residence, time of diagnosis, clinical stage and operation had certain effects on psychosocial adaptation.Self-disclosure,marital intimacy and psychosocial adaptation were significantly correlated. Both self-disclosure and couples’ intimacy have a direct predictive effect on psychosocial adjustment.Self-disclosure also takes couples’ intimacy as an intermediary variable and indirectly affects the level of psychosocial adjustment.Improving patients’ self-disclosure level and enhancing couples’ intimacy can effectively improve patients’ psychosocial adjustment ability.
