Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of retention enema of Chang’an decoction on ulcerative colitis with heat and toxin retention.Methods:In this study,74 cases of ulcerative colitis patients with excessive heattoxin obstruction who meet the inclusion and exclusion standard were included in the outpatient and inpatient department of general external anorectal department of Baoding First Middle School Hospital from December 2021 to December 2022.They were stochastic divided into the treatment group and the matched group with 37 cases each;Test group: retention enema of Chang’an decoction + oral mesalazine enteric-coated tablets;Matched group: mesalazine suppository for anus + oral mesalazine enteric-coated tablets.Both groups of sufferers were treated for 28 days,and the validity and security of retaining enema of Chang’an decoction in curing ulcerative colitis with heat toxin stagnation were evaluated by observing the symptoms score of traditional Chinese medicine and curative effect,Mayo score,Baron score,relapse rate and other indicators before and after treatment.Results:1.Single grades of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms: the single grades of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of the two series of sufferers before healing has no statistics significance(P>0.05),indicating comparability.After healing,the grades of bellyache,diarrhoea,purulent and bloody stool,fever,tenesmus and ventosity in the two groups were statistical criteria(P<0.05),It shows that the experimental group has a more significant resuit in relieving abdominal pain,have loose bowels,purulent and bloody stool,give out heat,a sense of urgency and abdominal distension.Post-therapy,the grades of thirst and irritability intergroup were statistically significant(P<0.05),in the two plumps has no statistics significance(P > 0.05).It declare that both the experimental group and the matched group can alleviate the symptoms of thirst and fidgety of sick patients.2.The contrast of overall fractions of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome: the overall fractions of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of the two series of sufferers before healing has no statistics significance(P>0.05),indicating comparability.After healing,the general fractions of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the two plumps has statistics significance(P<0.05).It illustrate that the therapeutic efficacy of the experimental group more remarkable.3.The contrast of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome efficacy evaluation index: the efficiency of therapy group was 94.6%,and that of comparison group was 86.5%,the diversity has statistical criteria(P<0.05),expressing that the clinical effect of the test group surpass the matched group.4.Comparison of Mayo score: before treatment,the Mayo score of sufferers in the two groups was not statistical meaning(P>0.05),which was comparable.After healing,the Mayo grade of sufferers in the two teams was statistical criteria(P<0.05).It indicate that the test group can effectively lessen the lesion range of ulcerative colitis caused by heat toxicity.5.Comparison of Baron score: Before treatment,the Baron score of sufferers in the two plumps was not statistical meaning(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the Baron grade of sufferers in the two organizes was statistical meaning(P<0.05).It denote that the test group is significantly exceed the matched group in promoting the coalescing of colonic mucosa.6.Comparison of relapse rate: The recurrence of the two organizes was significantly fewer than that of the matched group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The clinical efficacy of retention enema of Chang’an decoction in healing ulcerative colitis with heat and toxin is better than that of mesalazine suppository.2.The retention enema of Chang’an decoction can significantly reduce the lesion range of ulcerative colitis with excessive heat and toxin.3.The retention enema of Chang’an decoction is significantly better than that of mesalazine suppository in promoting the healing of intestinal mucosa.4.The retention enema of Chang’an decoction can effectively reduce the recurrence rate of ulcerative colitis patients with heat toxin retention.
