Clinical Observation Of Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction In Treating Acute Attack Of Bronchial Asthma(Syndrome Of Wind-Phlegm Obstruction Of Lung And Blood Stasis)and Its Effect On Serum S1P

Objective:To study the effect of Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction on TCM syndrome score,lung function,ACT score and serum S1P of patients in the acute attack stage of bronchial asthma(wind phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis syndrome),and evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety.Methods:Sixty-six patients who were diagnosed with acute attack stage of bronchial asthma(mild and moderate)and with the syndrome of wind-phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis in TCM were selected from the Department of Respiratory Outpatient,the First Affiliated Hospital,Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from December 01,2021 to December 31,2022.The patients were randomly and single-blind divided into a treatment group(n = 33)and a control group(n = 33).Patients in the treatment group were treated with Salmeterol fluticasone inhalation powder aerosol twice a day,on top of which were given another dose of Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction,once a day.Patients in the control group were treated with Salmeterol fluticasone inhalation powder aerosol twice a day.The treatment course was 10 days.The changes of TCM syndrome score,lung function score,ACT score and serum S1P level before and after treatment were observed.Result:1.After treatment in both groups,the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 83.87% and 75.00%,respectively,and the effect in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group.2.After treatment,each syndrome score was decreased in the two groups(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups after treatment,there was a significant difference in syndrome scores of the two groups(P<0.05).The efficacy of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group.3.After treatment,the lung functions of the two groups(FEV1 accounting for the expected value and PEF mutation rate%)were improved,and the improvement degree in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Compared between the two groups before and after treatment,the ACT scores were decreased after treatment and the treatment group was superior to the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).5.Compared within the two groups before and after treatment,the level of S1P was decreased and the treatment group was superior to the control group with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).6.There was no abnormal change in safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment.Inconclusion:1.Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction can improve the TCM syndrome scores of mild and moderate patients in the acute attack stage of asthma(wind phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis syndrome);2.Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction can improve the ACT score of mild and moderate patients in the acute attack stage of asthma(wind phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis syndrome);3.Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction can improve the lung function of mild and moderate patients in the acute attack stage of asthma(wind phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis syndrome);4.Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction can improve the serum S1P level of mild and moderate patients in the acute attack stage of asthma(wind phlegm obstructing lung and blood stasis syndrome);5.Shuchuan Tongluo Decoction is safe and effective.
