Purpose: This study is based on data mining methods such as classification, clustering, and association rules to collate, summarize, and analyze clinical research literature on the treatment of liver yang hyperactivity type hypertension with traditional Chinese medicine, and summarize the medication and compatibility rules of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions, with a view to provide theoretical support and guidance for the treatment of liver yang hyperactivity type hypertension with traditional Chinese medicine, and providing new ideas for doctors to use drugs based on syndrome differentiation.Materials and methods:1.This study conducted a search on CNKI,WANFANG,and VIP databases to select Chinese clinical research literature on the treatment of liver yang hyperactivity type hypertension with traditional Chinese medicine that meets the inclusion criteria of this study. The time frame for the literature search is from the establishment of the database to January 31,2023.2.In order to exclude repetitive publications, all retrieved documents were imported into Note Express3.5 software, and then carefully read, screened, and checked through strict implementation of the exclusion criteria for this study. Finally, the documents that met the requirements of this study were summarized and entered into the Microsoft Excel 2019 database. At the same time,Cite Space software was used for the visual analysis of the documents.3.Using SPSS 27.0 data mining software,I first conduct drug frequency analysis on the prescriptions in the clinical research literature of traditional Chinese medicine included in the database to obtain high-frequency drugs, and then conduct association rule analysis and cluster analysis to explore the drug distribution and medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the effective treatment of liver yang hyperactivity type hypertension, and finally summarize the core composition of drugs.Results:1.Based on the visual analysis of Cite Space software,it can be seen that Tianma Gouteng Decoction has always been a commonly used prescription for the clinical treatment of this type of disease. The modified Tianma Gouteng Decoction has become a research hotspot in recent years, especially for patients with primary hypertension. It has initially been found that hospitals in Hebei Province have conducted the most clinical research on this topic, and the trend of involving traditional Chinese medicine and integrated traditional and western medicine in the treatment of hypertension with hyperactivity of liver yang is becoming increasingly evident.2.Through searching the database,we initially obtained 499 relevant documents, and after the strict screening,116 clinical observation documents that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were finally included, including 99 traditional Chinese medicines, with a total frequency of 1295 times.Among them,20 drugs with a frequency ≥ 10 were used, and the top five were Gouteng(104 times),Achyranthes bidentata(101 times),Gastrodia elata(101times),Shixiaming(93 times),and Eucommia ulmoides(88 times).3.The statistical results of the meridian tropism of the four qi and five flavors of drugs and the categories of traditional Chinese medicine show that in terms of the four qi of drugs, the frequency of use of cold drugs is the highest(545 times),and the order of frequency is cold(545 times),flat(500 times),warm(131 times),cool(118 times),and hot(1 time); In terms of the five flavors of drugs, the frequency of use of sweet drugs is the highest(821 times),and the order of frequency is sweet(821 times),bitter(597 times),spicy(141 times),salty(138times),sour(138 times),light(89 times),and astringent(20 times); The most frequently used drugs in meridian tropism are liver meridian drugs(980 times),which are ranked in descending order: liver meridian(980 times),kidney meridian(468 times),heart meridian(352 times),lung meridian(275 times),spleen meridian(249 times),pericardium meridian(181 times),gallbladder meridian(140 times),large intestine meridian(99 times),small intestine meridian(90 times),bladder meridian(88 times),triple energizer meridian(78times),and stomach meridian(69 times); In terms of drug efficacy classification, there are a total of 13 categories of traditional Chinese medicine,of which the drugs for calming the liver and calming the wind are used the most frequently(342 times),and in order are the drugs for calming the liver and calming the wind(342 times),the drugs for clearing heat(235 times),the drugs for promoting blood circulation and resolving stasis(197 times),the drugs for tonifying deficiency(169 times),the drugs for calming the nerves(96 times),the drugs for promoting water and penetrating dampness(94 times),the drugs for dispelling wind and dampness(86 times),the drugs for relieving external symptoms(40 times),and the drugs for eliminating digestion(13 times)Expectorant, cough, and asthma relieving drugs(11 times),qi regulating drugs(6 times),hemostatic drugs(2 times),astringent drugs(2 times),laxative drugs(1 time),and resuscitation drugs(1 time).4.Using IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0 software to perform association rules,55 strong link drug pairs were obtained, and 14 medium link pairs were obtained. The first four strong link pairs had at least 90 link frequencies, namely,Uncaria lobata(97),Uncaria lobata(93),Achyranthes bidentata(92),and Uncaria lobata(90).The second-order association results showed that the drug pairs with the highest support percentage were Eucommia ulmoides-Uncaria lobata,Uncaria lobata-Uncaria lobata,Gastrodia elata-Uncaria lobata, and Achyranthes bidentata-Uncaria lobata.Among them, the highest confidence level is Gastrodia elata-Uncaria lobata, similarly, the highest support and confidence level in the third-order association is Gastrodia elata-Achyranthes bidentata, and the highest support and confidence level in the fourth-order drug association is Gastrodia elata-Achyranthes bidentata-Shixiaming;Cluster analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0 software was used to obtain four sets of cluster core drugs, the first group: Poria cocos, the second group: Prunella vulgaris,Rehmannia glutinosa,Glycyrrhiza uralensis, the third group: oyster, dragon bone, white peony, chrysanthemum, salvia miltiorrhiza, the fourth group: Gastrodia elata, uncaria, cassia, eucommia ulmoides, mulberry parasitic,Achyranthes bidentata, gardenia, scutellaria baicalensis,Fulin,Shouwuteng,motherwort.Conclusion:1.In recent years, the commonly used prescription for clinical treatment of hypertension with hyperactivity of liver yang is Tianma Gouteng Yin,and the modified Tianma Gouteng Yin formula is the focus of attention and research hotspot in this field, especially for patients with primary hypertension.Among them,Hebei Provincial Hospital has a lot of clinical research in this field, and traditional Chinese medicine has obvious advantages in treating this type of disease. In the future, the treatment of hypertension with hyperactivity of liver yang by combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine is an inevitable trend.2.The drugs commonly used in the clinical treatment of hypertension with hyperactivity of liver yang include Uncaria,Achyranthes bidentata,Gastrodia elata,Shixiaming,Eucommia ulmoides.3.The disease location of hypertension with hyperactivity of liver yang is mainly in the liver, closely related to the heart, kidney, and other organs. The main application of traditional Chinese medicine is cold, mild, sweet, and bitter in taste, which is beneficial to the liver, kidney, and heart meridians. The often used drugs are these with characteristics of calming the liver and calming the wind, followed by heat-clearing drugs. At the same time,it also takes into account promoting blood circulation and resolving stasis, tonifying deficiency, calming the nerves, and promoting water and dampness infiltration.4.According to the high-frequency drug association rules, the strongest drug pair is identified as uncaria and gastrodia elata.Cluster analysis reveals four groups of drugs. The first group:Poria cocos; The second group: Prunella vulgaris,Radix Rehmanniae,Glycyrrhizae; The third group: keel, oyster, chrysanthemum, white peony, salvia miltiorrhiza; And the fourth group:Gastrodia elata, uncaria,Shixiaming,Eucommia ulmoides,Fushen,Shouwuteng, motherwort, mulberry parasitic, gardenia, bidentata, and Scutellaria baicalensis. |
