Basing on the summary and analyses of status, developing principles and automatic control of mineral processing technology, it is pointed out that one of powerful manners for decreasing cost, rising integrated interests and competing ability of mineral processing plant is to control and manage material flow of mineral processing.By studying common and Muben Mineral Processing Plant's mineral processing process and its productive equipment, the static and dynamic relations of all equipment and status of material flow of mineral processing are found out. Basing on studying and analyzing of productive process and the characteristics of equipment of Muben Mineral Processing Plant, the dynamic relative networks of the productive material flow quantity and their quality are drawn out in the processes of shattering mineral, dehumidifying production, No. 4 Production Line while the efficiency and ability of equipment are calculated.Basing on the summary and analyzing composing characteristic and functions of modern productive material flow system, hierarchical architecture, intellective characteristics, efficiency and advantages of intellective hierarchical architecture, changes of managing concept, managing contents and features of data base of modern productive material flow system. Then the principles of planning of productive material flow routes and collocating equipment, the designing principles and functions of hierarchical intelligent control system of material flows in mineral processing plant are brought forward. And the architecture based on agent and computer network of hierarchical intelligent control system of material flows in mineral processing plant are constructed.To prepare studying hierarchical intelligent control system of material flows in mineral processing plant further, picturing, transition rulers, analytic methods, relevance matrix and dynamic equation, defect in applying of Petri network, fall short of orient object models applying are discussed after technology of formalization model built, non-formalization built and compound model. And Petri network system with time attribute is expanded opening network system with interface of input and output. The network system expanded with all attributes of basic Petri network model has hierarchy and recursiveness, can be analyzed with mathematical tools of network system and can deal with concurrent and asynchronously also.Dynamic compound models of burnishing and float process of mineral flow subsystem and productive medicament flow subsystem in the process are constructed through assembling place, disperse place, burnishing equipment and float equipment are abstracted places, and vector or routes representing productive material flows are abstracted are abstracted transition, basing on Petri network system expanded and method and steps of compound model built.In consideration of complexity of the relevance matrix describing dynamic compound models with many correlates inside and outside, "Topological transiting matrix with label" for memorizing dynamic compound model is brought forward inthis dissertation. Application of this matrix can save a lot of memory space and simplify analyzing of the compound of the system.Finally, mathematical principles about material flow balances in mineral processing are discussed and inducted basing on the compound models. And the static material flow balances are inducted to optimizing problem with constraints.
